This trip was a gift for our eldest son who is a huge, huge, HUGE fan of Playmobil. It is a bit far away from Lausanne (about 600km). But it is easily accessible from Basel, Zurich or cities in Germany. If like our son, you or your kids are fans of Playmbil, this is definitely a theme park you should visit. However, don’t expect to find lots of attractions for grownups like you would find in Disney parks, Europapark or Legoland. In fact, there are no mechanic attractions. Playmobil Funpark is like a huge playground for kids with loads of areas to play, climb, jump and get wet. The park can be easily visited in one day (you can even do it in half a day). There are different areas.
